FAQ
What is padel and how is it different from tennis or squash?
Padel is a racket sport usually played in doubles on a small enclosed court. It mixes elements of tennis and squash, using glass walls that are part of the game. The serve os underhand, rallies are longer and the game is fast, social and easy to pick up.
Â
Unlike squash padel is played over a net on a larger court and usually with four players. The game is less physically demanding, more tactical and emphasizes rally construction rather than constant high-intensity movement.
Â
Compared to tennis, padel is played on a smaller court with solid rackets and lower ball speed. The walls are used during rallies, which changes strategy and reduces the need of power, focusing more on control, positioning and teamwork.
